Entry visa to visit Russia

Most of foreign nationals are required to have entry visas to travel to the Russian Federation. A visa to the Russian Federation is a document, permitting stay in Russia for a specific period of time. A visa lists entry/exit dates, your vital information, passport details and some information about the inviting party. Please note, that your Russian visa is an exit permit just like it’s an entry permit.

1. E-Visa (the easiest and simple way to get an entry-visa to Vladivostok for 8 days)

Starting from August 8, 2017, nationals of 18 foreign States may be granted an e-visa to Russia through the border crossing points, located on the territory of the free port of Vladivostok. E-visa to Russia is a single-entry visa and issued for 30 calendar days from the date of its issuance. The permitted stay in the Russian Federation with an e-visa is up to 8 days starting from the date of entry, within its validity period. E-visa validity and/or the permitted stay under it cannot be extended.

Only citizens of the following countries can obtain an e-visa, the list of which is set out by the Government of the Russian Federation:

To continue travelling across the rest of Russia, you need a regular Russian visa. If you want to explore Russia beyond Vladivostok or if you are a citizen of a country not listed above, please contact a diplomatic mission or consular office of the Russian Federation in the country of your residence to learn about how to apply for a regular visa.
